My fourth wedding of 2017 continued my stretch of out-of-town weddings, this time down to Philadelphia. This one was special! I was honored you chose me to be your coordinator, after seeing me in action for C+O’s 2016 Wedding! You planned such a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony (handfasting and a 22-person processional FTW!), and super-fun reception (complete with gorgeous DIY centerpieces and a freakin’ Donut Tower in lieu of cake), it was so much fun for me to take the reins and bring your magic to life on that sweaty, hot June day. I’m in awe of your combined bad-assness, and feel privileged to have been even a small part of your day. My every warm wish goes to you both for a memorable 2018!

Hello friends,

2017 was QUITE the year for my baby business!

From just an inkling of an idea in the summer of 2016, Stephanie Gatton Events was born. 18 weddings later – and with another 8 already on the calendar for 2018, I’m loving what I do and who I work with. My clients invariably become my FRIENDS, a relationship born out of the trust and honesty they give me. They’ve taken me down to Philly, up to the Hudson Valley, all over this city that I love, and even on a plane back to San Francisco! Along the way, I’ve gotten to know some kick-ass vendors and venues, my partners in making your day extra-special.

Over the next few days, I’ll be thanking each and every one of those couples, as I look forward to making new memories in 2018 and beyond.  LET'S DO THIS!

Welcome Announcement - Alexis & Joe!

Hello friends!

Happy February! Just a quick post to welcome my newest clients to the fold - ALEXIS & JOE!

Aren’t they adorable?

After checking out my vendor listing and spotlight on Offbeat Bride, Alexis wrote to me a few weeks ago, and after a lively 90-minute FaceTime chat, I just knew we were on the same page. Their story began at Billymark’s here in NYC (who doesn’t love a love story that begins at a dive bar?), and saw stints in LA and DC, before they made their home in Philadelphia. Both are from the New York area (Long Island and Jersey), and though Joe popped the question last October on the Brooklyn promenade (check out this view - who could ever say no to a proposal with this backdrop?), they’ll say “I Do” in the heart of Philly.

I'm honored to join the team as their coordinator for their September 2017 wedding at Bartram’s Garden, minutes from Center City. Let's do this!
