My sixth wedding of 2017 took me back to the neighborhood of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, my first home in NYC before I decamped to Astoria permanently. Shiralee, you were just an absolute dream client to work with! I had such a fun time getting to know you and help bring your day together! You chose one of my very favorite venues in all the city, and from that began a beautiful partnership with the amazing team at Frankie’s 457! Your attention to design and detail really made for a stunning wedding. House Landwin FTW! My every warm wish goes to you both for a memorable 2018!

My fifth wedding of 2017 was an absolute stunner! You two are a beautiful couple, and you put your trust in me to execute an incredibly important day for you and your families, whom I absolutely adored! (Seriously, if they want to adopt me, I’m game!) From the expert team at the New York Athletic Club to the warmth and love felt at your Armenian Church, it was a day full of love. It was my pleasure to connect you to my recommended wardrobe stylist and transportation company, and work with the amazing Juan + Co. from Anthony Vazquez Photography to capture all of the magic. My every warm wish goes to you both and your families for a memorable 2018!
My second wedding of 2017 was the first of FOUR fabulous OFFBEAT BRIDE couples. I was honored to assist these two on their intimate, Upper West Side wedding, which began with getting ready at The Carlyle Hotel, followed by a full Greek Orthodox wedding service and dinner for 35 at Carmine's UWS (with a flash mob thrown in along the way, organized by the bride!). Along the way, I worked with the lovely ladies of BAM Wedding Photography for the first - and not last! - time. Thank you for trusting me with executing your big day, my every warm wish goes to you for a memorable 2018!

You're first in the lineup of my 2017 couple thank-you notes! I'm honored to have been a part of making your big day a success. You are a beautiful couple, and assembled a crackpot team of vendors I've come to turn to again and again since your wedding day. Thank you for choosing a gorgeous venue in The Green Building, which has allowed me to grow and nurture a relationship with their team and space that I'll forever be indebted to you for. I SO enjoyed bringing together your Irish and Puerto Rican families for a heartfelt ceremony and raucous good party! My every warm wish goes to you for a memorable 2018!

Though I've been working with this wonderful couple - and the groom's mother - since May, I'm only now just getting around to welcoming them officially to the Stephanie Gatton Events fold (how much more busy can this summer/fall get?!?).
Welcome to CELIA & DOUGLAS!
This lovely couple were sent my way by the mother of the groom of a previous couple of mine (did I mention that parents LOVE me?). Moms talk, and one thing led to another, and I ended up hitting it off with THIS mother of the groom, who was busy helping her son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law plan a Hudson Valley wedding while they were living in Texas and Pennsylvania, respectively. A tall order on a normal day, I was pleased to come on board to relieve some of the stress of it all. From site visits to their gorgeous venue to intricate timelines, sourcing wedding favors, props artisans to put the finishing touches on decor items, and even designing the seating chart as well as handling all calligraphy needs for the place cards, you name it, I jumped in and did it!
Now, Celia and Douglas are here, back in Manhattan! Celia's family has made the trip over from her native China, and both families look forward to becoming one. And I look forward to their fall wedding weekend in the beautiful Hudson Valley! I am honored that they've brought me on board to serve as the coordinator for their big day. Let's do this!
